Apoptotic Vesicles Regulate Bone Metabolism via the miR1324/SNX14/SMAD1/5 Signaling Axis (Small 16/2023)

چکیده
Cell-Free Therapies hBMMSC-apoVs can promote mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) osteogenesis and inhibit osteoclast formation in vitro vivo. The mechanisms include the release of miR1324, which inhibits expression target gene SNX14, thereby activating SMAD1/5 pathway cells. In article number 2205813, Xiao Zhang, Yunsong Liu, co-workers suggest a therapeutic strategy for treatment bone loss, including tissue engineering through cell-free approach.

Regulation of Bone Metabolism
Bone is formed through the processes of endochondral and intramembranous ossification. In endochondral ossification primary mesenchymal cells differentiate to chondrocytes and then are progressively substituted by bone, while in intramembranous ossification mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) differentiate directly into osteoblasts to form bone. The steps of osteogenic proliferation, differentiation,...
متن کاملBystander signaling via oxidative metabolism
The radiation-induced bystander effect (RIBE) is the initiation of biological end points in cells (bystander cells) that are not directly traversed by an incident-radiation track, but are in close proximity to cells that are receiving the radiation. RIBE has been indicted of causing DNA damage via oxidative stress, besides causing direct damage, inducing tumorigenesis, producing micronuclei, an...
متن کاملInsulin Signaling: GLUT4 Vesicles Exit via the Exocyst
The localization of the GTP-binding protein TC10 to lipid raft microdomains has been suggested to play a role in the stimulation of GLUT4 translocation. The exocyst has now been identified as a downstream target for TC10, directing GLUT4-containing vesicles to the site of fusion.
متن کاملPropranolol Prevents Osteoporosis and up-regulates Leptin in Ovariectomized Rats
Osteoporosis is a systemic skeletal disease and there is a close relationship between the sympathetic nervous system (SNS) and bone metabolism. Leptin has been shown to regulate bone formation and bone resorption via the SNS. However, the effect of SNS on leptin signaling has not been clearly understood. In the present study, we studied the effect of propranolol on ovariectomy-induced osteoporo...
